First step is always the hardest...

I first heard about the 12 Week Body Transformation (www.12wbt.com.au) about 12-18 months ago. At first I was intrigued but $199 seemed like a lot of money. I asked Santa for Michelle's Crunch Time book and as I flicked through the pages I became hooked. Before long I'd read the book from cover to cover several times. I still go through it on a regular basis. I thought after just reading the book that I was unstoppable. I thought I could do this all on my own. I did well, I shed over 10kg in a relatively short period of time. Then I plateaued (however you spell it) and I lost motivation. I'd given up again up until about 2 months ago when I was lucky enough to get a second job. This second job would provide me with the $$ to sign up to the 12 WBT First Round 2012. After much procrastination and discussion with family and friends and hesitating, today I took the plunge. I paid for it all up front so that there was no changing my mind. I had committed. I was in it for the long haul. I posted to FaceBook what I'd committed so that all my friends, family and colleagues were aware of my impending journey. Now, several hours after, I'm excited. I'm pumped. The forums are awesome and it was suggested to document everything via a blog, so here I am. I will keep everyone updated on my challenges as well as my triumphs. Some days I might post a lot and others it might only be a sentence. By following this blog, you are my support. You are going on this journey with me and I thank you for being by my side.

  1. I came across your blog today. I am at the start. Pretty much at your starting point. Same height. Similar starting weight. Nice to follow a journey thats more "real" to me. *off to keep reading*

  2. Thanks for your comments Alisa, it's a great journey if you let it be. I know for me, the results have been absolutely amazing, both physically and mentally. If there's anything I can do to help, drop me a line.
